Hey guys! What a super cool day - OMG!!
So, we woke up really early because my dad said the sunrise at the Grand Canyon is the best. Then we had a really, really long drive through the desert and we had to hike for a quite a while too. I was sooo tired, but when the sun came up, the whole canyon turned orange and pink. It was insane! And I took like 30 photos, but none of them looked as good as in real life.
After that, we hiked a little. It was hot already, even though it was only morning. I had to drink so much water because the desert air was super dry. While we were walking, we saw these giant cacti. They looked funny, almost like they were waving at us.
Later, we drove to a small town, and I tried green chile stew for lunch. I thought it would be mild, but wow—it was so spicy that my eyes started to water. Still, it was delicious, and I even ate the whole bowl.
In the evening, we watched the sunset. Then the rocks turned purple, and it felt like the sky was on fire. Honestly, it was the best day of the whole trip. See ya soon! :)
